I live in New York with my husband and three children and in addition to writing and teaching, I'm a certified labor doula. With my friend, poet Arielle Greenberg, I co-wrote Home/Birth: a poemic, a recently published collaborative non-fiction book. My most recent book of poetry is Museum of Accidents. I teach poetry at NYU and the 92nd Street Y and recently taught an experimental class at the Metropolitan Museum for NYU students interested in writing in response to visual art.
