SO WHAT IS OUR PHILOSOPHY?
Our philosophy is to ask questions by publishing work which queries: What is writing? We want to discover how the presentation choices and processes of writing affect the content being presented and how these choices and processes affect the audience interacting with the work. BathHouse encourages discovering fresh processes in order to re-open closed spaces; evolving dormant thoughts; and creating new spaces. We want to experiment. We want to dialogue. Join the conversation.

EDITOR'S NOTE:
Vol 7.1 reminds me why I want to write and be involved in the exchange of ideas. I spent countless hours with the work you will explore here and greatly enjoyed them all (minus the nights that stole my sleep). Something that became apparent to me as I got to know each artist/writer through their work was the individual texture each one’s work exudes. As writers we spend a great deal of time discussing the development of voice. Here, you will experience voice via the patterns which create each texture (be sure to utilize the “plus” function to zoom in on the many tiny surprises found in the visual pieces). Voice -texture like fingerprints- makes its way to us here through the transmission of our contributors’ desire to fully explore ideas which have tantalized them.

This is my last issue at the helm of the Bath and I am terrifically glad to hop out while the water is still hot. Until next time...
